Matt & Jeremy's Responsibility in Elena's Death

#TVDS4 Spoilers Julie Plec on Matt & Jeremy's Responsibility in Elena's Death : "Matt is basically responsible in his own way for her being the one thing she never wanted to be. He’s going to carry that very heavily. It’s going to take his some time to get past that. And I would say certainly Jeremy, who would never want this for his sister, is going to have a real, real visceral reaction against Rebekah for what [she] did. There might be a little bit of retribution.

Matt
So now,a part of my own thoughts. The fact they fell off the bridge is Matt's falt, but the fact that Stefan saved him first isn't his falt. It's Elena who asked Stefan to save Matt and then it's Stefan who,as i've read in a previous interview, knew that Meredith had given Elena vampire-blood to save her.So now,who is more responsible?Matt, who drove off the bridge because he saw a woman,i don't know if he had the time to understand it was Rebekah, out of the blue standing in the middle of the street.Elena?who chose to save her friend because she loves him and didn't want him to die like her parents did?or Stefan who even though he knew she had vampire-blood in her system,he still saved Matt and left her turn into what she never wanted to be?hmmm
Jeremy
About Jeremy.I get it.He wants to avenge his sister's trasformation into a vampire.Wanting to harm Rebekah sounds legit but considering she's an original and very strong vampire shouldn't he just be,like super cautious?she could tear him up like a doll in one move.I just hope Jeremy won't get hurt.
Is that anger of his get him to be the new "vampire layer" of the show?i don't think he'll try to kill the vampire-Elena but he might try to kill the rest of them and epsecially the one whose blood changed her, when we found out whose it was.

The interview was originaly posted on the website sulia.com
